Whilst not directly answering your question, for which I apologies, Opens in Scotland and now transferred automatically to my EG App

Yes you can.

I know for EG to ask a SG ayer to mark a card, you need to use their membership number, and not search by name I assume it’s the same for SG scores. Of course, if it is a fellow SG member, it shouldn’t be an issue

You couldn't at the end of April when I played the open at Goswick.
They said I would have to report my away score myself but it did appear on my SG record the next day.

I’ve played in opens in England before and scores went through to my home club, I would liked to have put some general play scores in myself on the SG app.

Just to confirm I successfully submitted a score on my SG app playing a course in Kent.

Did the course come up automatically or did you have to enter course rating and slope manually?

I just put in England and name of course and that was it, no manually inputting course rating and slope.
