Seve - The Legend

The world is a poorer place now, what an inspirational man, what spirit, we can all be better people if we adopted a fraction of his can do attitude.
Adios seve.

A fantastic tribute to a great man.

So sad to see his life cut short.

When Faldo broke down it did make me start to choke a bit myself.

Yes, certainly had my eyes watering as well. Loved Tiger's story about their little bunker game - just goes to show what a genius the man was.

Shame it wasn't longer - am sure they could've just down an hour on Billy Foster and Bill Elliot stories........or just cut out the bloody Bruce Forsyth bits and had more from actual players instead!!

All in all though a fitting send-off for the great man. RIP Seve; thanks for all the wonderful memories.

It was the last bit that got me... His address to the camera about not wanting any sympathy because of how lucky he has been to live the life he's had. Showed the measure of the man that even in his last days he was more conscientious about others.

loved the seve programme last night, he was a proper legend. very emotional, the interview with ken brown at the end had me filling up.

I completley forgeot about this!!!

Is it repeated at any point?

I know it will be on iplayer but i'd rather watch it on my tv than on my laptop.

Great viewing, equally cheering and touching. Really enjoyed listening to Billy Foster, would love to read his memoirs in the future if he ever writes them.
