Seriously Sexy

Sorry H, but Odessey putters don't do it for me. I always find they sit closed, and compared to a Scotty they feel like a childs toy.

Sexy? No. Not quite a munter, but somewhere in between.

Murph

SOrry but I have to disagree ont his one. It sat beautifully and felt so good off the face with a soft but not buttery feeling and a lovely roll. I think its the best odyssey putter they've produced.

I am still in love with the Scotty circa 62 #6. Bloody sick though of putters that shafts rust at the smell of rain, my Yes! ones are a nightmare and the shafts are ruined.

I like the look of some Yes putters although some of them look like they were designed after a night on the wacky-baccy!!
Always found an inconsistent strike with the groove face - definitly the puttee not the putter.

As someone who hates all things Calla*** (cant bring my self to type it) the Odyssey Black putters are very nice I think they have a better weight and feel than the Whites

I find the milled face plenty soft enough. You are hitting a soft piece of plastic with it after all. Putters can be too soft.

Maybe this is why you can get away with playing a Cally tour ix, as off an inserted putter you don't notice that the ball is a rock. Putt it off a scotty, and you wouldn't play this ball.

The other odd thing you will find, is that I have had my Scotty for a number of years, and will keep it for a fair few more. Yes, I have bought a stainless one for use on winter greens, but the main one has been my gamer for ages.

In this time, certain members of the forum have been through 5 or 6 putters, and are still looking at more new ones to try.

Something to be said for owning the best. Your search is over.

Putters are like opinions on burds,

some likes ass, some like boobs, some like blondes, some like brunette,

lets all agree to disagree and respect each others opinions although for my its Ping!

Glad we got that cleared up.
