Scotty Cameron Newport Select 2.0

I have just invested in a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.0 after being allowed to try different models and some Odyssey Metal Inserts on the putting green for an hour or so, and chose the Newport 2.0 because liked the balance and feel, so I am really happy with the purchase (Plus the discount I got).

My question is the weighting on the bottom, my understanding is that they are factory set and I am sure other Newport's I have looked at the weights were 2 x 15g but mine is 2 x 20g, just curious if 20g is different to the standard?


As I say I liked the feel of it so no looking to change or any thing

What length putter did you get?

I'm guessing at 33"?

My newport had 2 x 20g fitted (34" btw)

I think the shaft length determines the weights fitted i.e. 2x10g in 35", 2x15g in 34", 2x20g in 33". You can obtain spare weights and the tool to remove them as well.
