Scotty Cameron Dark Red Paint

Anyone know where to get some paint to renovate my aging putter?

I got a great bottle of special golf club paint off Amazon. But the colour described as dark red is more "pillar box" than the dark red on the Scotty.

Ideas appreciated

Try the likes of a Warhammer model shop if you have one near you. Failing that a good model shop should have a range of model paints that might match. Once painted, give a coat of varnish for protection.

Could you not just darken the red paint with another colour?

This just drip some black paint in.
Use a pallet until you get the colour you need.

Although it's meant for model car brake lights, I've used Tamiya clear red paint (code X27) successfully. It's a little light but close enough. An extra coat does darken it though.
