Absolutely awful penalty decisions at the end.
Yes we were luck not to concede a penalty earlier in the game but how on earth can he call the two late ones how he did.
The Czech one was never a penalty and ours was a stick on.
He has more than likely cost us a place in the play-offs(ok we probably wont have won that but you never know)

The Czechs were robbed of a stonewaller in the first half. Brown should've walked in the 1st half also for a foul when last man.
The referee was godawful, but for both teams. A fair result I thought.

Team (insert name) doesn't win therefore it's the referee's fault for not giving them a penalty/giving the other team a penalty (delete where appropriate or keep both). Then post on message board or phone 606 or TalkShite to continue said diatribe.
Ignoring of course any decisions that went said team's way, not blaming any of own players for missing chances, or taking any kind of responsibility for said performance.
It gets boring after a while.

The Czehs were utter pish and should have been put to bed by Half Time.
Then the 2nd half happened.....2 each with a dreadful team is a sackable offence,forget yer penalty kicks,playing Adam as a sweeper is unforgorgivable.You were petrified to lose the game never mind win it you utter fud of a man.
We are close to having a team that could feature but not with you in charge you utter *** of a man.

I love the media frenzy about how good a manager Levein is. Please show me his CV and highlight what he's ever won!
Levein blew it, we sat further back and invited the opposition to press and press, he took of Bardsley and replaced him with an 18 year old inexperienced rookie who aint kicked a ball all season. Low and behold his inexperience sees him dive in and give away a needless penalty.

Having now seen the aforementioned decisions - leaving the rest of the game and the suitability or not of the Manager - you have to ask wif the Ref was in the Czech's pocket..? I can see how the first penalty was given, the split second look from the angle the Ref was at does make it look like a trip even though you could have got Katie Price's knockers between the players. For the 2nd, the Ref had a perfect view. If he gave the first one he simply has to give the second. There is obvious contact hut the clincher for me is that the Scot lands on his face - if you dive you put your hands out.

Maybe it could have been worded a bit better but have to agree with Paul there. People are more than happy to blame a mistake of an official than they are to blame a mistake of a player.
I have seen the incidents and the view from behind the referee on one take I think I would have made the same decision you cannot see clear contact because of the angle of the referee and the incident. Obviously if video technology was allowed to be used then yeah you may of got the penalty.How ever there was no gurantee you would of scored it.
Levein as a manager doesnt seem to bad I think he is trying to play the best tactics for the players he has, end of the day you have to look at the players you have and how they perform a manager cannot do every action for every player over 90 minutes.

After a campaign littered with quite frankly stunningly ridiculous tactical descisions and ultra negative performances when it has counted Levein has to go.
His extraordinary ability to turn our strongest squad for a long time into something resembling a blind amateur 11 is quite stunning.
I have never been so livid with a Scotland manager as I have been on several occasions throughout the campaign.
Lithuaina away - shockingly negative when after 15mins anyone could see they were there for the taking and if that wasn't bad enough next came Czech away. Utterly utterly embarrassing for us and for Avril as a manager, however he felt justified in the way we set up that day. He should have been sacked on the spot after that game.
An injury time winner against the giants that are Lichtenstein .We were unacceptably pish poor.
Then yesterday. A must win game. He thinks it's a good idea to set the team up ultra negatively again at times identically to Czech away with Adam playing about 5 feet in front of the centre halfs and a bank of 5 midfielders joined on many an occasion by our lone striker.We allowed them time and space. A massive amount of it! We sat so deep and let their 1 world class player have a free reign and he controlled the game.
Now we are no Barca or Real but look at how modern teams are setting up pushing higher up the park Chasing players in packs and pressurising them into mistakes to regain possession. What do we do? Give them the freedom of Hampden Park!
He still thinks we were "terrific" and that is my main problem with the man. He fails to acknowledge failures on his part. And there have been many! He treats us like idiots who know nothing about the game with his patronising sh1te.
Whilst I accept that many managerial changes ain't good for anyone we surely need to get rid of this imbiciles who continues to make the same mistake showing no sign of wisening up. He is just so out his depth and dragging us down.
We have a decent squad and should have been capapble of finishing 2nd ahead of 3 rank rotten teams but this fud has managed to fu#k it up with 3 games left!!

What you have to realise is who would you replace him with? Has to be someone who knows the game well within the british isles so he knows the players? Scotland have been through a few managers without much success surely that gives a clue regarding the ability of the side as a whole? Who would realistically want the job? He must be a decent manager to get to that level its like someone getting to the top of your profession and the saying your rubbish where as you must be half decent to get there in the first place?

It wasn't aimed at Scotland or anyone in particular. This is a malaise found across all of football. The NFL has its faults but criticism of officials does not happen. Not with a $50,000 fine for the coach for the first offense!
And any referee could find your post offensive as could anyone Czech.
A forum is exactly that, a place for people to post ocmments and opinions. You may not agree with some or any of the posts but to expect everyone to simply have the same view as yourself is a little naive.
I don't know you but I guess you don't know that much about the Scottish game as this is our strongest squad in possibly ten years.The ability of this squad should easily be able to finish 2nd.
Show me what Avril has achieved within the game as a gaffer?
His C.V. is extremely unflattering.
When it has mattered he has managed a 97th minute winner versus a team who have won 5 games in their history and a win versus Northern Ireland and Wales reserves.
There are umpteen people that should get the job ahead of this failure.Hell,I would even have Smith back and I cannot stand the guy!
