is the cumbernauld mizuno fitting centre now closed down?? is the nearest one to falkirk the clydebank world of golf one??

anybody been, if so how good was the fitting session and how much did it cost??

Scotland sadly doesn't have a national fitting centre any more. Its now just a piss poor DNA and fitting cart option which would rule me out of ever getting Mizzies.

I was going to ask a similar question, went to AG in East Kilbride last weekend to hit the AP1 and AP2 titleists and while in the bay he gave me the 825 and 825 pro to try too... And i liked them! Want to try them a bit more but if i go for them i dont really want AG to do the fitting.

Was hoping for a suggestion of someone in Scotland that would be good for the job.

Scott Gourlay at Craigmillar Park in Edinburgh was recommended to me and having now used him I can't disagree.

Use this to see where there is a local fitting centre. Quite a few in Central Scotland. Scott Gourlay and Kurt Mungal in Edinburgh are both good places to go for a fitting.

Yep, got my Mizuno bats fitted by Kurt Mungall at Lothianburn and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mizuno have travelling fitters now, the same guys that ran the national fitting centre come to ag on a rota system, check out the website for one near you.

Scott Gourlay is fine but know that you hit into a sheet and see the numbers on a lappy, personally I like to see the ball flight no matter what the numbers say. Both will charge for the fitting now, only AG will do it for 'free'

remember the old adage though, you get what you pay for.....usually

Demo day is really just a chance to try new stuff IMO. I certainly wouldn't be looking at using one for a proper fitting as there just isn't enough time to do it properly.
