Got a quote for worldofgolf in Clydebank for an hours lesson on the SAM Putt lab.

It's £55 for the hour, or if you buy 5 get the 6th free (so £275)

Is this worth the money? Has anyone had- couldn't afford the bulk package just now but considering doing an hour to try it out- would it be worthwhile?

Also does anyone know any other places(near Glasgow) that do it and have prices?

I certainly didn't need more than 1 session.
As a 1 off it was well worth the money on identifying the fault I had.

Guess it depends how bad/good your stroke already is.

Can't really see why you'd need 6 sessions

Thought the same as bob, have been on it once it was very good I done it as part of a fitting. The pro did say the machine was quite harsh so do not worry if it shows lots of faults.

Worth a go but six hours sounds alot

1 Session might be, from a qualified operator, but certainly not a series! First time I've ever heard of it being promoted in a series! I wouldn't consider anyone who was promoting that way! Even that 1 hour seems a bit expensive.

Had 1 today as luck would have it. Very interesting, but with all these things the quality of the person interpreting the info is very important.

But reassured me that I was hitting the middle ish more often than I thought I was. Also person noted straight away that my grip on my main putter was not on straight. Which really effected my stats as then used a spare putter I took and stats improved enormously.

I had an hour long session with a PGA pro. It was all I needed and wouldn't want more than one session. Fascinating to do though and see exactly what your stroke does or doesn't do. It seems such an easy thing to do doesn't it?
