Forum meet. Royal troon Portland course, just wondering how many people would be interested in the Portland course this year price would be £85 per person 1 round and full access to the facilities
Trying to get a feel on numbers before I book anything and if anyone has any input it would be much appreciated

I'd have to play the Championship while I am there (I could sell a kidney) and make a trip of it!!

Agree you want to play the best they have its just an alternative to the original meet as I think the £250 is a bit much for most especially me

I would mention that normally the green fees are cheaper during the winter months, which is normally upto March time(not sure about troon).

Hence why a number of previous meets at the top courses are done in the winter months, yeah you risk the weather and perhaps work being done on the course, but it works out a lot cheaper normally.

Yeah checked the later months and no bookings are available as quaker says must be a shut down for visitors
