Roger that... Tennis SPOILER ALERT

Federers fitness at his age is incredible and his longevity at the top even more incredible.

With the other big 3 injured or coming back he will get more majors for sure.

Its not just his fitness though... The mark of a true champions is the ability to find another gear when threatened... Which is exactly what Roger did this morning when Cilic found his A game...

Awesome is an over used adjective, in sport, but Federer was all of that today...

Federer is the GOAT in his sport and arguably any sport. Quite frightening to think how many Grand Slams he could've won if there was no Nadal or Djokovic in the same era; and the fact he went 4 or 5 years without winning one.

Plus he's a class act off court as well as on it. A role model for everyone.

48 grand slams between Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, and all playing at the same time.

That's 12 whole years worth of grand slams, amazing.

Federer deffo the GOAT as he's had to compete against 2 of the other all-time greats.

I met Roger F in Zurich in 2011, while I was working forCredit Suisse and he attended a charity dinner.

Hugely charismatic, but in a very quiet way. Massively focused and colleagues who knew him couldn’t praise him highly enough.

So, fantastic player, nice geezer, lovely wife and kids..... you want to hate him really! Utter star.

For some reason, I have never warmed to him.

However I can only say he is one hell of a tennis player, the way he plays and how long he has played and won top events. Really top dog, will anyone ever beat his record.

All done whilst not really suffering from injures(given how long he has been around and the level he plays at, when compared to the others)

Roger is amazing and love to watch him play. I think he has stayed injury free as it's not about brute force rather than timing - he seems to glide across the court and generates amazing speed and power without looking like it's an effort...

Awesome athlete and seems a damned nice guy too.

My wife has been to Wimbledon a few times and seen all of the current top players. She talks about how Federer glides around the court in a balletic fashion. Compare that with the other players pounding and aggression, particularly Nadal, and it is not hard to see why he is fairly injury free. I am sure the bio mechanic people would use Federer as an example of how to have a long career and Nadal to highlight own not to do it. He is a remarkable sportsman.

As has been said, I thin’ his style is what has kept injury at bay. Seems to be a player that could easily dominate in any era agaisnt any style.

I think hes great, some on the battles against nasal when both at their peak will be replayed for years.

Only time I felt he went a bit ott was during the midst of his Wimbledon dominance when he started walking on court in those ridiculous suits.
