Its pretty shameful towards those who have played the whole season. How could someone playing over 3o games not have contributed more??

Can I suggest you take a look at what happened at Paradise this season before questioning it?

We have had this season 20 plus people wearing the strip masquerading as footballers and he has been pretty much faultless since he arrived.

If it was me though I wouldn't have awarded anyone it but the right man has got it.

He's hardly scored a goal when it counts though and a good few have been penalties, 2 from outside play against any of the top 6 and looks a wee bit greedy with not laying it off and going for it. Not an OF supporter but Hinkel or McGeadie have done more for you this season and have done the work for the goals. Just my opinion

I don't watch any of the football from the league up there, i could probably watch better football at the Ricoh Arena but i'm not going to go there either!

I'm sure Keane's done alright but someone must have done a BIT more

Robbie Keane is a class player. Scores goals wherever he goes. Deserves the award.

As for McGeady, I wish he left a couple of years ago as playing in the ScraPL hasnt helped improve his game. He would have benefited a move down south like Irelands other young starlet James McCarthy.

Playing against a better opposition with a better side can only help him.

Give it a lash Jack, Give it a lash Jack, Never, never ,never say no, Ireland,Ireland

Keane's ability, or lack of, was on show against Ross County!

His only contribution in the game was when he backed into the centrehalf, fell down and waved his arms in the air looking for a penalty.

Now if a Div 1 defence can tie him up for 90 mins, in a must win game, how on earth is he 'player of the year' at Celtic Park??

Talent must be in short supply down in Paradise this year.

Farneyman, have you been on the Guiness? McGeady is a cheap show pony who wouldn't cut it in the Championship. I am glad the wee James hunt didn't choose Scotland and that says a lot because we are guff.

And here am I enjoying one of my biggest footballing thrills for many years!!

My little team, CaleyThistle, from my little town, get promoted to play with the big boys again- just pure magic!
To do it with a swing of 24 points in 2010 is again magic!
To win last Saturday 7-0 with seven different players scoring the goals is also magic.
Demoralising? My bum...its MAGIC!!

get a grip of yourself man, our game is red rotten.
the facts tell the story
world rankings where are we, when was the last time we qualified for a major tourney
european stats the last few years
boring games week in week out, the old firm games are nothing to get excited about anymore, there is more quality watching the weans have a kick about in the park
