Sweet were one of my favourite bands in the heyday of glam rock even though I was way too young to understand it - just liked the tunes

Shame - my thoughts on Sweet are as yours - I loved Sweet songs - great fun. Mind you a bit of a shock for me to look at his photo at a face I know it so well - and to read he was 72...crumbs - the sands of time....

One of my favourite groups and still listen to their songs every now and again. Alice Cooper still plays them occasionally on his Planet Rock show. RIP Steve Priest.
