Indeed. Shocking that there was a time when it was the practice to exclude someone (completely overtly) from sport because of their colour. (not just golf) Most of the world has moved on, if not all....

I thought I recalled him being in the tee, such a shame he couldn’t have put one in play as a parting gift as the sport owed him that.

Would have been lovely if he could have hit one, but at least he got there and enjoyed his moment.
