Rip off Golf Pro's!

Craphacker think if you are trying to correct my grammar please check where the ' is. It is before the s rather than after which means one rather than after the s which means several.
I was not asking a question but stating a fact that it was a rip off.I continued to ask a question whether the tickets were free. The point being that we were being taken for a ride if the tickets were free. I explained the situation with the pro at our club. There was no reference to any other pro in the country.

You continue to make assumptions about our Pro without knowing the facts.

Thank you!

No, I'm making no assumptions about your pro at all.

Yes, I made an assumption about your grammar, which I assumed like mine, was imperfect. I can't see what your ' is meant to be saying ( I always had ' as meaning possion, so it would be something belonging to your pro, if it was meant in the singular )

so I assumed you meant pros.
Apostrophe 's' does indeed denote possessive, and as there is no possesive in the title, that apostrophe was presumably meant instead as an abbreviation apostrophe.

As 3OTT has now corrected us to what he meant, then his grammar is worse than originally thought :D

That was my point and to repeat I was not moaning merely asking a question

I was not asking a question but stating a fact that it was a rip off.
Just to be clear, that sounds very like a moan to me. the facts are he held a raffle with free tickets that he was given as prizes. Whether it is a rip off is not a fact, but your opinion.

I continued to ask a question whether the tickets were free. The point being that we were being taken for a ride if the tickets were free.
But as you've now stated, your pro doesn't take his share of green fees to which he's entitled. Seems like pocketing the proceeds of a £1 raffle is small recompense for missed green fees.

I explained the situation with the pro at our club. There was no reference to any other pro in the country.
As the grammar police have pointed out, your plural abbreviation and exclamation mark in the title imply just that.

Aditionally what use is a Ticket which can be obtained for free and involves a round trip of 250 miles to watch a 2nd rate tournement
If you want to go, then you are getting free tickets, if you don't want to go, then why would you enter, and why would you care?

maybe you should create a list of things that are worth raffling in your eyes before he bothers in future?

To be honest, for someone who wasn't apparently moaning, you've made a bloody good fist of it!
