And no fuel depot seiges anywhere.

It always amazes me that around here we seem to have just about the highest prices going but 15 miles down the road it's 3-4p a litre cheaper.
Putting nearly £50 a week in mine now - might have to put my prices up in May....

Autogas conversion £1,000, LPG £0.70 per litre

20k miles per year, you save approx £1,300 in fuel - plus a lower road tax.

Not sure on performance, availabilty etc - but looks tempting!

Nice idea but don't you need a big enough car to take the tank? My little C3 wouldn't have any space for my clubs...
Can't be having with that now can I?

But I can remember we had a LPG car on loan for our fleet 3 years ago and they were bragging how it was only 39p a litre. As soon as we convert in our droves the effin' government will start pumping tax onto LPG. So even in 3 years the price has gone up 80%.

On the news yesterday a lorry operator was saying it costs £1,000 a week to run an artic!
When I first started driving a deisel car the cost of the fuel was approx 60% the cost of petrol, now it is around 10% more expensive!

And road tax for an artic is £1850 for 12 months yet anyone waltzing into the country for any corner doesn't pay a penny to drive here.

I do a 120 mile round trip to the office each day. My Saab gets three round trips to the tank, so am filling up approx £60 every 3 days...... costing me close to £400 per month at the moment, just to go to work....
