Hi All

I have taken a break from playing golf for a couple of years now but suddenly got the bug to play again.

Only issue is I sold my clubs to get some extra cash, so I am looking to buy a whole new set but I am not sure what to go for a second hand set, a cheap bundle set or go the whole hog and get custom fitted.

This time if I stop playing I definitely wont sell them :)

can get some real bargains second hand, personally would go that route at least until you are sure youre sticking with it

can put together a half decent set for a few hundred (or spend more than that on one custom fit driver), depends greatly on your budget!

I would defo start with a second hand set. If you still have the bug in a year's time you can get fitted then if you want to. But for now I'd get a nice second hand set for a couple of hundred and just get out and start playing.

I did the same, sold all my gear then got back into it 4 years later. Bought everything second hand off e-bay and facebook groups. There are some bargains to be had.

Some serious bargains to be had on ebay

Try spelling the brands with spelling errors in the search - Ive had some really good buys this way.

Alternatively look for a good condition set from about 2-3 years ago - technology hasn't really moved on that much if you ask me - certainly not enough to make a difference to a handicap golfer.
