Just to expand on the Divot subject.
Which of the below would be the members of the forum's preference for a second(long Iron) shot off the fairway...
1. From the remains of a divot that has not been replaced
OR
2. From the top of a freshly replaced divot?

a couple of places I've played have handed out little twists of wood to peg divots down, I suppose it occupies the greenskeepers of a dark evening.
and it's not just birds that turn divots, I've foxes do it and been told that badgers do too
