removing cellotape off clubhead....

just arrived this morning a titleist 904f 22 degree 7 wood mint condition £36.99 off e-bay well pleased but has a cellotape sticker on the head (£95)! which i am having trouble removing it seems like its been on years!Any suggestions how to get it off. cheers all tim

Try some silicone spray or maybe wd40 it should work its way under the top layer and attack the adhesive. If you can get hold of something called Isopropanol alcohol that will get it off and not affect the finish.

Leave it in hot water for a few minutes, should just peel off.

cheers all.....my half bitten fingernail and a dab of petrol won through :D....quick wash in warm water and its sparkling...hope it performs as well as it looks ;)

Ooops! Forgot to mention.
I have only used petrol on three of my clubs before and the heads flew off of them all.
I don't know if this was purely coincidental or not, but forgot to warn you

Your nick has always puzzled me...just what exactly is a time van anyway?? ;)
Explained previously but went to buy a van for my business a few years ago from Bolton and on the back door it had a sticker 'www.timevans.co.uk' My name Tim Evans so I bought it and used time vans on here!! Apologies for no gap!!
