Redundancy Advice

All sorted. Negotiations went well and I'm getting march's money!!!! Didn't expect to win that, but did, so all good. Also may have a job back with the same firm if things go to plan in a few months. (not holding my breath on this).

As Woofers says the first £30,000 of redundancy is tax free and anything over will probably be taxed around 40%, i was made redundant in March 2018 and got hammered for tax but got in touch with tax office and got a very nice tax refund about 3 months later so i would say your employer is trying to help you out.
