I played Winn wrap grips on all my irons for years (but have now reverted to Velvet style)

Good alternative is the Golf Pride CP2 either wrap or or Pro. I have one of these on one of my wedges

Adore do a grip called JumboMax which looks interesting

I've got the Golf Pride CPX grips on all my clubs, and I love them. I much prefer the reduced taper on the wedges and 9 iron. Don't realy grip down with the others, but it's there if I wanted to.
The CP2 are good as well.

I use them on all my clubs (Golf Pride MCC +4) and like them. That said, I believe they do strengthen the right hand in the swing, and I'm not sure that's a good thing per se.

Saw a clip of Ian Poulter on Instagram earlier this week and he was explaining how he taped his grips. He puts 1 layer about 3 inches down from the butt, another layer 2 inches from the butt (both to the end of the grip) and then 4 layers the full grip. He said that, as both his hands were the same size, it made no sense to him to have a grip that got thinner for the lower hand so he wanted to bulk this bit out. Unfortunately I can't find the clip now to post it but sounded quite sensible to me.

I went undersize with one layer of tape for that reason. The undersize will cope with up to 4 layers of tape which make them slightly thicker than normal grips with one layer of tape.
