Recommended courses in/around Reading and towards Twickenham?

Can anyone recommend any in that area? Either around Reading or towards Twickenham in or around the M4 corridor. Leaving work early next friday to go and meet a friend before we embark on the messiest weekend of the year - The Middlesex Rugby 7's reunion - So I was just wondering if I should try and push trying to get on one course over another? I don't think price is an issue. Sounds like it will be a Corporate wangle ;-) Only downside is that I'm travelling down on the train so probably won't be able to take my own clubs with me. But he assures me he has a set of "Venturer" clubs that I can borrow! Thrilled, as you can probably imagine!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I'm in Ascot if you fancy it. If you want courses in Reading then Calcot is pretty good as is Goring & Strealty or Wokefield Park by Jct 12 of the M4 near Mortimer. Easy to get on and pretty close to Twickenham are Wimbledon Common (you'll need a red shirt) or Richmond Park. There is also Home Park by Kingston Bridge which I think is now owned by Crown Golf. Preety sure MikeH was/is a member there

Burnham Beeches just off Junction 7 M4 worth a look, Lambourne just a stones throw from there as well.
