Recommend me a driver please

Tim have you just though of your pro looking at how you swing the driver, that might be a cheaper fix than getting a new driver.

I use the new Grafalloy Prolaunch red speedcoat in my driver and 3 wood, its abit more responsive than the older version and flys just as low.

I've a mizuno MP600 440 head in 8 deg with the the old prolaunch red you are welcome to borrow, if you want to collect;)

Hi Patrick

Yes i initally thought along the lines of getting it fixed with a pro but the more i have researched hitting up on ball with the driver, even to the extent i do, is a good thing for distance.

The guy with the launch monitor showed me one shot and i had an upward angle of attack of 8 degrees  - with a good strike, though i think i was averageing between 5-6

I'm thinking if i get a driver with very low loft and stiff shaft id probably gain a fair bit of distance, i love hitting big drives. If i can pick up a club for say £100 sell it on if it doesn't work probably only lose a little bit.

If it doesn't work then i may go and get a lesson, will need a pro with a lauch monitor though i think the nearest is mark crossfield

you could test the R1, lofts from 8*-12* and the face angle can be set as well

Thats a good call Darth, i'm going to look into doing that.

Particks alot of people seem to like the Grafalloy Prolaunch red... i think its just made it to the top of my list

yep, great on Links courses, very low spin. The New version as i said is a bit more feel, but the older which is heavier can be bought very cheap, in fact i got my MP600 with the older version for only £20 in a local pro shop. so might be worth checking with any local pro shops if they have anything sim.

You could get a Diamana 'ahina shaft for your titleist off eBay for not much. That is the lowest spin and launching of the stock shafts titleist did in the 910d2.
When you say you have the stock stiff I am assuming you mean the diamana kai'li blue one? Which is mid launch, mid spin I think.
