Hi all,
I'm going to be working away for the next 9 weeks which means I'll only be able to play at the weekend. So I've decided to buy some books to help me pass the time sitting in he hotel.
I'm gonna go for some bob rotella as some of my problems are in my head. Which ones should I go for and do u need to buy them in order (and which order).
I'm also going to get Harvey penicks little red book after reading previous posts. Any good? and am I missing anything else.

Thanks in advance

I was going to say Baldacci, however, if it's golf books - I dont know - find them all a bit dull.

I have tried some of the Rotella stuff, and while they are easy enough to read I just think they are all saying the same thing 'Don't worry about it - it's a golf shot, you are not declaring war, noone will die due to that shank. Relax'

Go on holiday 2 weeks today and i like a good read on hols have been recommneded John Daly 'My life in and out of the rough'

So whilst the other half is topping her tan up il be the pale white english man sat in the shade with a bottle or 5 of Efes and reading!

More topic related - read a few pages and it looks like a good read - Straight to the point as John would say it!

Worth it at £7.99 or cheaper online if u ask me!

I can definitely recommend Ross Biddiscombe's two books about qualifying for the European Tour, Golf on the Edge and Golf on the Edge II. I'll get round to doing a proper review of them some time.

I spotted a book yesterday (Thro the windae in a shop that was closed!) called something like 'A Major Obsession' ....think it was by Kenny Reid or someone. :D

No idea what it is about or if it's any good and should really google it but can't be arsed so come on guys is it any good?!

I'm with Murph on the Penick book. It's one of those flick through and put down books. I also think like an earlier poster golf books are not usually a good read for holidays but hey! each to his own 'spose

I'm not going on holiday though, I'm working away. I just wanted a good instructional book to help me as I'll not be hitting as many balls as I normally would.

Something has to be better than nothing!
