Live in a safe area so no danger of flooding etc but no golf course open anywhere near me. Doubting the range will be open tomorrow as they are having trouble getting the machine out to pick up balls

The sign is right and it's lucky that is the old road so isn't used for anything other than a layby but I've never seen the water that high in the 25 years I've lived here. It's always flooding under the bridge but that's about 7 feet deep in the middle and there is a gateway into a field just the other side of the bridge so there is an insane amount of water there.
Our club pretty much always picks the balls up by hand so it's always open. Bigger problem for them at the moment is the ball machine isn't working so they have to count out all the balls people want!
No flooding to that extent but plenty of deep puddles on some roads and lots of standing water on others..
I doubt there will be a Golf Course open anywhere around here tomorrow - even one built on the side of a chalk hill.....
If my local range has been open then there won't be any balls to pick up - they'll be 6 inches underground...
This happened a few years back - a spell of really wet weather and they had to replace 5000 range balls as they'd plugged...
Just been outside and it's not raining for the first time in 3 days here in Aberdeenshire. Didn't even bring my clubs when I saw the forecast. Wonder if there will be a drought in the spring?
