I managed to get tickets for last nights gig at the MEN arena Manchester and was not disappointed. There are not many bands that I am that bothered in seeing live but this is one and they did not disappoint.

They were simply awesome, 2 hrs 15 mins on stage, the set containing songs from all of their albums but mainly material from In Rainbows and The King of Limbs.

Highlights for me were, Lotus Flower, Myxomatosis, Reckoner, Paranoid Android, Planet Telex and Give Up The Ghost.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know but my favourite band.

Radiohead, along with Elbow and Coldplay amongst others that, while I cannot doubt their musicianship and popularity, I just don't "get" them at all....
Glad it was a good gig though...

A band to divide opinion, a little like the top 100 courses thread i think ;)

If we all liked the same stuff it would be a boring old world!

Saw them on my birthday at Glasgow Green in 2008, absolutely superb. Set list was In Rainbows and all the classics (less Creep Obviously), one of my favourite all time gigs.

I used to really like them. So much so that Kid A was the only album I ever pre-ordered.

A few days after collecting it from HMV I went back......

"Can I return this and get my money back please?"
"Why Sir, is it damaged?"
"No, it's crap."

He couldn't argue with that. I got my money back.

The Bends is still one of my favourite albums though.
