1 got a 7 day vacation which happens automatically once you receive a specific numbers of points or infractions . The other is on a 7 day vacation that could become permanent once GM is made aware.

The procedure is
10points = 7 day ban
15points = 14 day ban
20points = 21 day ban

5 infractions = 1 month ban.

Infractions range from 2 to 8 points, inappropriate language being 3 points so if you have 4 offences like our vacationer you are away for 1 week. But those last on your profile for quite a while. So on return 1 more infraction while those are still active will see them vacationing for 1 month.

But realistically you should not be having the same infraction twice. If you have been given it once you will have 3 points. If you do it again then you are Ignoring Advice which is 8 points and will put you on 11 a d a 7 day vacation.

Hope this helps clear things up.

I won't post what I was going to post but I'll take it to PM with any Mod who wants to entertain me. Who is willing to answer my PM and I'll fire away.

Pm sent to the first two Mods who replied - Phil you got away with it this time!

Cheers.

Old Farm topics should be banned.

No they shouldn't, OF topics create lively debate. Those who cross the line particulalry with bigotry should be banned permanently. Stuart D is a perfect example of a Rangers supporter who doesn't drag it to the depths and will discuss without need to lower the tone.

+1. I've actually enjoyed some of the posts on the old firm threads. Most of it was done with typical football humour and there was a lot of detailed knowledge put forth. Occasionally it spilled over (In my opinion of course), but banning discussion about the old firm would be a mistake.

Oh, Val. The offending posts weren't aimed at you mate. They were purely digs at another person, using language that I wouldn't use in front of my Missus, never mind my kids...

Saddened that you've implied all the blame belongs with Rangers supporters here. Sadly, there are too few like Stuart on both sides and too many who can't resist dragging it down. There would be no complaint from me if OF discussion was banned.

Lock the thread, it'll be off the rails in seconds.

I posted a Happy Birthday picture and it was deleted before it got a single reply so there is a current ban in place.

I think Valentino is speaking from his perspective of being able to debate with an opposing supporter. The Reference to Rangers is nothing more than that.

It was a post that was not necessary at the time based on events earlier in the day. I thought you had sorted this issue based on your previous post thanking for the PM clarification?

Yes it was clarified to me in a PM stating that there had been a similar topic posted earlier that had already started to go a drift so mine was pulled. However I didn't see that so can't comment on that.

I'm simply stating in line with some comments above that there is, as such, an OF ban as something wasn't allowed to run to even a single reply, thats all.

Yes that thread was binned, because it was inflammatory .
A Rangers supporter would rise to the bait and find themselves banned, like 2 members did last night.

The Forum is an arm of the magazine with a reputation to uphold
It does not want to be associated with threads that cause infighting, bad language etc

How was my picture of Happy Birthday showing images of Rangers players covering over a century be inflammatory!

Irrelevent of what happened prior, it should have been given an opportunity to run IMO.

Yours wasn't it was the other thread that was heading the wrong way.

Headed the wrong way since 2 members got a ban after a similar posting to Fish was made.

Your photo is like rubbing salt into the wound.

If you can't understand that then so be it. But our position has been made now by 3 moderators in multiple posts.

Hey, forget the attitude.

Read back over my posts and you'll see that I never saw the previous thread and I even did a search prior to posting mine which I stated to Chris in a PM so chose your words correctly when making such comments that "if I can't understand then so be it".

Thats a very arguumentative response and one that would not expect from a mod, maybe you need some more lessons!
