Never had a putting aide, whatever that is, so won't be clicking on that link.

I'm one of those people who have always been happy with the same putter from donkeys years ago and don't need to change.

Daughter has the Putt Aim laser - it works well for her. I'm sure that there are other lasers out there that do similar, but this is one that doesn't attach to the club, is really well made (not plastic) and projects a really clear green laser. It "can" work outside on the putting green, but only really on overcast days, it's really an indoor training aid (plus it was a lot cheaper than the Aus dollar price - although she was one of the first to get one a couple of years ago so I suppose that the price has gone up)

Visio mat and putting gates. I also have a small mirror I use periodically for checking posture and alignment. The mat gets the stroke working and the gates ensure I get the ball starting on my chosen line. After that practice, practice, practice

The only thing I used for some time is a putter ball.
It is basically a golf ball sized steel ball on the end of putter shaft and grip.
It's purpose is to help you keep your putter straight to the intended path, either left or right and the ball you are hitting shoots off in the wrong direction.
