Can anyone recommend a good stable putter for fast greens......
Im struggling with my distance control for the past few rounds as the greens have firmed up and got pretty quick I currently use a Ping 1/2 CrazE and im just finding it a little unstable on the stroke....I dont seem to have the same confidence in it as i used to have in my TM Itsy Bitsy.

Sorry for the 3 posts in a row. ;)

Any advantage you can get has got to be good, the most important thing is the confidence the putter will give you,it could save you a few shots without any practice/

As i said PJ i did have one but what made me get rid of it was it was a little busy for my eye at address.

It seems to me that it has got inside your head and its a confidence issue. Will a new putter really solve the problem? If you're struggling why not go for a softer make of ball and a softer face insert like a 2 ball.

Our greens are fast in the summer, and i switched from a ping anser to an Odyssey XG white hot No. 1. Love the soft feel, which allows you to make a positive stroke on even the fastest putts. Plenty of different models to choose from.

Evening Homer....Not sure.
Im using wilson DX2's at the moment which are pretty soft offr all my clubs which i like....I hate rocks...
Id love to use the high end balls but i havent the consistency in my long game for them just yet.

I have a Scotty Cameron Red X and it has been in the bag for years despite my habit of constantly tinkering with the set. The putter is the only club that has been there for more than 12 months and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If you get the chance to try one do so, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
