Putter fitting - up North

Good evening all.
I’m in the fortunate position of having some pennies to spare and looking for a premium putter fitting in the north of England. I’m in Leeds but willing to travel a reasonable distance for the service. So far I’ve seen Scottsdale Golf and House of Golf Manchester as viable candidates. Can anyone suggest alternatives? I have no brand loyalty so willing to try anything as long as the service is legit.

Not the handiest for Leeds, but still within the brief, Penrith GC offers a full fitting for putters. I believe someone from here was fitted recently there and the only brand missing was evnroll. They have a funky fast speed fitting video which shows how the session and build works.

I was going to suggest Mark Bently in Willerby, East Yorkshire until I read his home page....shame, nice fella.

Tour X , House of golf are good. A little further A field from you but the set up at Formby Hall is really good aswell.

Clubhouse golf was ok but where they had set up the Quad was in a driving bay.
This lead to putting basically of a driving range mat onto a smoother mat.
The ball was jumping off the first rougher mat and did skew the results somewhat.
Can’t understand why they set it up like that, and I must say I was a bit disappointed with the results.
The quad was telling me that my face rotation was perfect and stroke online but almost every putt missed the target.
That’s not good visuals imo.

If your other is at Hopwood Cottage MGC the set up there is excellent although it’s quite a long time ago that I went there

I think Lord T MAY have the incorrect info. but willing to be corrected. The place is Penrith Golf HUB not Club. They have around 6 pro’s including Mike Newton and Andrew Pickering.

However they have just taken on a ‘putting specialist’, may have been involved with Scotty Cameron. The set up there is top class

Lee Sullivan is at Tour X in Wigan. Not sure to what extent he fits putters though.

Isn’t Lee at Swash putting in Southport as well.?
But think they only do Odyssey.

Chris Dennis at Waterfront Golf is a putting and short game specialist, knows his stuff and works on the European Tours with some of the pro's. Got some clever kit in his studio as well.
They're in Wath Upon Dearne, not too far away.
Also, I'd be tempted to get in touch with Lee Shepherd at Cleckheaton, they have an indoor putting studio, and he's the best golf coach I've come across in all the time I've been playing. Drop him an email and see what they can offer you product wise.
