I use a Scotty Cameron California custom made and fitted for last 4 years now , paid for itself it has as I have won a golf holiday to the algarve with it and a Ping G25 Driver plus prizes up to £400 the other day , putt with standard grip right handed over lap , did go to an oversize grip which was okay with my ping so i fitted one to my scotty , no feel at all so back to a standard grip with one layer of tape . whats your putter and stats

I am gripping it less firm, really trying to ensure I get the grip pressure perfect no matter what conditions.

Currently hitting a penny from 6 feet 4/5 times, any misses are usually within a cup radius.

Putting is all about confidence and delivering along the intended line at the correct pace. Nail those three however you may. (Personally a std putter and a std grip is all I need).

Interesting as I changed how I grip the putter on Saturday with very positive results. Previously I, play right handed, I used a dominant right hand, index finger down the shaft, to try to control the putter. Results were mixed, nothing great but nothing awful. After a nothing year with the putter I looked on youtube for better options and came across a Mark Crossfield video. He had a putting specialist with him and he recommended a neutral grip, hands virtually opposite each other rather than one on top of another. A bit of carpet practice mid week and I tried it out on Saturday. I was suddenly able to putt the ball straight far more often, made many more putts rather than a slight push to the right which is what often happened in the past. This new grip allows a rocking motion far more easily. Early days but signs are positive.

I have two putters, a Taylor Made blade, regular grip, which is lovely on summer greens and a Yes mallet putter, regular grip, which is better on heavier greens but lacks a bit of feel for faster surfaces. I used the Yes putter on Saturday and will keep it in the bag over winter.

whats your putter and stats

I forgot to mention my stats, I don't track how many putts per round but I do know I get up and down a lot and I hole my fair share of long'uns.

Pretty much I feel like I am a really good putter, I have been called "Robotic" as I hole another short putt. Its pretty much the only reason I got down to 11 as I am rubbish outside 120 yards.

I've been using one of these Mizuno Mp mallets for the last year or so. Its a great feeling putter, highly recommended.
Its 34" and I use a reverse overlap with a chunky Winn grip but I choke right down with my right hand almost off the grip.

Been using an Odyssey milled #9 as per my signature but just put a jumbo grip on a white ice version at the weekend and very pleased. Currently averaging 33.14 putts per round but the new grip seemed very promising so hoping that will improve

I like heavy putters. My scotty ATM is great. I have a straight back and through stroke and use an unusual baseball style grip. Works up to now.... However, I also regret selling my ping redwood piper s putter... Don't know why, just do....

Using a PING Anser milled 2 with the slim black PING grip. Prefer a slim grip on the putter even though I have midsize grips on the rest of my clubs.

Think the anser style is best for me but I really like the look of napa style putters or anything simple and classic looking...even the nike mod 90.

Don't know my stats but I'm happy with my putting!

Putter is changeable and stats are horrific :whoo:

On a more relevant note I putt left hand below right. Just works much better for me and stops me decelerating, especially on the short ones.

Have been using an Odyssey Tank Cruiser putter which is very good, trialling a SeeMore at to the moment as I have a tendency to have the ball too far forward when putting so the sight dot on the SeeMore should, in theory, help.

Doesn't feel as nice as the Odyssey though....

Currently using an Odyssey Tank #1, as I love the heavier head, and the confidence it gives me through the stroke. Had it for coming up to a year now, which means it is the longest serving putter I have ever had. Tried with a lot of different head styles, but love the fact I am using a blade now. 3 putts are a rare thing (I have cursed it now!), and my hole outs from 2/3 feet are much improved...if only i could get the ball closer in the first place!!
