I was thinking over my 2010 season and what my proudest achievment was and it would have to be winning my 1st club championship.

What has been your proudest acheivement golf wise for 2010???

p.s sorry if this has been done!!

Difficult to top that one Screwback :D

Winning a major, and getting name on board for me (when they finally get round to it )

Iv had 3 that really stand out for me...
1. I shot 2 under par for my handicap of 18 at the time when the course was set up for a Senior/Junior Scratch cup medal comp...It was playing very long...

2. Was shooting 7 under par for my handicap of 19 at the time.

The 3rd was turning with 26 points on our front 9. 8 pars and 1 Bogie and finishing with 42 points after 18.

Oh and 1 other that i havent achieved yet but will is the swing changes that JustOne is helping me with.

Breaking 80 once (OK it was just a friendly but still)

Holing from 150 yards for an eagle.

Getting the handicap under 20.

and

Helping England beat the Scots at Goswick with 2 wins out of 2.

Reaching single figures again after a gap of nearly 10 years (that included 4 not playing at all). Closely followed by every time I tan Fraggers ar$e!!

Going three consecutive posts on here without being critiscised or having having the mickey taken :D :p

Do you have proof of that statement Homer ? :D

Lots of good points, but not really anything I'd say I was truly proud of. Closest thing probably was getting to the final of the singles ko.

Well done - thas THE BIG ONE club championship.

I will never win ours but I have had two big wins this season.
1) Getting my name on a board for the first time in the foursomes
2) Winning the GM Forum meet at Beau Desert and nearly having a hole in one on a par 4. Drive of my life

Want to get to single figures next year and get my name on a board individually.

After enduring a year of illness and injury it's difficult to find a highlight from a competitive round.
Will put forward the last 9 holes of my last competitive round of the year. After having 2 three putts, an OB and a lost ball on the front nine i managed to keep it together enough to come back in -3 to finish on +3. Nothing to be excited over but as i was in pain and struggling with a pulled muscle on my ribs, swinging the club was really painful and i knew i had no chance of getting any pay with the score, i was happy with how i finished.

I know its not much in the overall scheme of things but I have, for the first time in over 25 years, played over 500 HOLES in one calendar year.

I also managed a total of 45 points in a Winter League comp in early November.

Gives me hope that I will start getting my handicap reduced next season

Biggest one for me was winning the club champs for the first time after being 4 back overnight. Seriously happy after that one I can tell you.

Pretty proud of winning 5 honours board comps this year off my low h/cap of which only one was a gross comp.

Finally joining my club after putting it off for two years due to work and birth of my second daughter! Also actually playing every weekend since joining rather than my 6 outings a year and wondering why I don't improve! Here's to a productive 2011.
