Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

I assume that Jason Day is wearing those trousers because he is being paid to do so, the idea being that we see them and suddenly have a desire to wear a pair of old curtains.

The question is, does anyone here envisage buying and wearing a pair any time soon?

It sometimes comes across like he’s way too easily ‘trapped’ by journos, they can seemingly push his buttons at will and control the narrative

I don’t think Rory should ever be asked anything more controversial than “Rory do you think its ok to wear black socks with shorts on the course”

Well that is clearly the most controversial question in golf.

If you pay me the amount of money he’s likely being paid to wear them then I would happily wear them and worse🤣.

But at £360 a pair I would consider anyone that even thought about buying a pair insane!

I believe Day was asked to remove his Malbon top at the Masters last year.

The gear is for the most part really ugly and unfathomably expensive. See exhibit A:

I mean, that's not golf clothing is it? You can't just pretend that it is as a manufacturer and tell everyone it's fine. 99% of clubs won't let you wear that on the course surely? Daft.

To be fair if you turned up and stood in the rough nobody would see you.
Camouflage golf could be the next big thing, I can’t see it myself though
