Anybody ever played in one? Worth doing?

One has just been announced for next year at my home course.

yup, I tend to play in 2/3 a year. I love them. Can be expensive, but if you get a pro you know (i normally play with the pro that teaches me), then they are great. I've got one to play in a couple of weeks

Yeah I play in a few each year. Usually play in the winter series at the Bedford with our pro and also at Brocket Hall with my dad and one of the pros from there. Think I played 2 at each venue earlier this year and always good fun

There s one at our course in a few weeks - I can't play but have heard it is a good day - this is the email I received earlier

I've got one next Friday at The Addington, which should be great fun, followed by a Captain/Pro competition on 2nd September.

I'll let you know my experience of the former next weekend.
