Private Messages

Is there any reason why "private messages" stays highlighted even when you have opened any new messages, not too much of a drama just a bit annoying!
Should it not just "highlight" when you have a new message, not all the time?

Once you read the message then refresh the page it goes away, well it does for me anyway.

I know this is a daft question, but have you definately opened and read the message?
Hang on a minute. I've jet realised that you are talking about the "private message" icon, not the "notifications" icon. I think that icon stays a darker colour if you have any messages in your inbox. The notifications icon is the one that will return to normal once the message is read.

I've just checked by deleting all my PM's and the private message icon stays a darker colour all the time. I hadn't noticed it before, now it's all I can see. Cheers for that.

No worries, it did`nt over bother me before, but now it is driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok it is just your cookies I think if you were to delete your history etc it will clear.

The reason it goes dark is to signify that you have followed that link before. If OCD gets the better of you, why not click on each of the rest of the links and they will all be the same colour then.....

That explains why it hadnt bothered me before then... I'd never followed that link..I only followed it to see what Johnboy was referring to, then it went dark.... I tell ya, 2 short planks would look down on me tonight...
