Went to Direct Golf the other week, were I have been going on and off for 4/5 years for all golf equipment, clubs, driver, push trolley, bag, also took lessons with the pro, basically all my gear.Upgraded to a electric trolley costing £350.00 and attachments another £50.00.Day later looked for a Garmin G3 seen on line for £128.00 .Dg selling for £149.99 as was American Golf,on there web says price promise we will beat any price, when asked in store they said they couldn't even get near that price.Came out rang American Golf who said they would match. When I got to the Chester store they were even surprised I brought paperwork to prove I had seen online for £128.00.Will be looking at American Golf more often.
Has anybody had this type of experience on price matching ?

Mrs got me a Bushnell Tour Z6 for my birthday, seems to be £329 in most places including AG, golfgps are £295 on the site and offered it at £279 by email, Mrs managed to get AG to sell it to her for less than the £279, not quite sure how much lower lol, but it seems if you ask you can get :)

Had some great price beats in AG. Although my last one caused a bit of a stir in the shop (RAZR X fairway wood £100). Now when i walk in they all avoid me.

our pro is a member of the foremost golf scheme and he will price match, sooner spend my dosh at his shop than give it to a large company.

I saw aa G3 online for £139 on Amazon everywhere else had it at over £200 including AM, They checked the price I had seen to check it was genuine and then matched it.
