Pretty Much Just Ruined Golf For Myself For A While!

8 Pars and a quadruple bogey?
5 pars, 4 bogeys?
3 birdies, 5 pars and an 11?
Draining silly long putts or peppering flags with irons?

How did it happen? Solid or a bit lucky?

What was the main difference from your usual play - driving/irons/pitches/putting or just everything?

I double-bogeyed the first, but for the remainder it was one birdie, four pars and three bogeys.

Swing just felt free and easy, connecting nicely with almost every shot. My long game is usually poorer than my short game, but using my G15 driver for the first time, used it on 3 holes and all three went nice and straight which always helps! Just generally nothing went too badly wrong that it couldn't be rescued - didn't lose any balls or anything. The game felt easier than normal.

Tidy numbers, +2 for 8 holes then. 5 handicapper in disguise!:whoo:

Golf is a daft game! Yesterday I played our 1st nine holes to my handicap and scored 18 points. Today I only managed 8 points going out, but then scored 20 points for our more difficult back nine, even with a 3-putt blob on the 17th! No idea what I changed? :mmm:
