I played prestwick this morning and to the surprise of the man at reception, he was amazed I turned up to play in 50mph winds so had the course to myself. The course itself was nice with a few great holes but 6,7,8 and 9 I found quite boring and was unimpressed with they few holes over the water but apart from that it was a nice course and a real challenge in that wind. Would probably say that’s the best golf I’ve played even though it was far from my best score. Even managed a birdie of the last to finish the day on a high.
