Premium Bonds

I'm tempted by these for my son (see my other thread).... by the time he's 21 he'll have a lovely lump sum and hopefully of had some wins.

Given the state of interest rates today, are these worth a punt?

Depends what you put in. I chucked £10,000 in two years ago and have had over £200 in return in small regular wins which I find acceptable, or you could be unlucky and have them in for over all our combined ages and get nothing.
I like losers, gives more for the winners in life.
