Preferred Insurance providers?

Following on from PPE`s painful post below, (wishing you a swift recovery, guess you are not eating too much pumpkin at the moment - sorry, that was terrible...), I really need to sort out some insurance. Better to be safe than sorry.

Can you guys suggest any preferred suppliers? Who do you have your policies with? Any positive/negative experiences?

I went with these guys last night, when looking at different companies they all looked the same but these were advertised in GM, last issue I think so went with them, only got the bronze deal but its looks good enough.

my problem with insurers is that you can never get the important information before you buy.

- what evidence do you need to provide in the event of loss etc,
- how much hassle you'll get trying to claim
- and as one forumer found, if you do claim they then want to recover of your contents insurance,

but I must get insured, even if just for the hole-in-one

Having heard so many horror stories with regards Golf Insurance and hidden problems/exclusions etc.
Does anyone know what kind of questions or small print we should be looking for when choosing a company ?
