I know there has been a lot of talk about the horendous weather of late, but thought I'd share my experience tonight.

Been suffering with a shoulder injury which has eased a bit the last few days, so thought I'd get a sneaky 9 in after work.

Half way down the second it's nice and sunny, all of a sudden big cloud over and the heavens open. I take shelter under some trees with the brolly up. 5 minutes later there's thunder, lightning, torential rain and massive hail stones. The course looked like this after another 5 minutes so it was time to go home. Not even 2bleeding holes.

Lovely summer we're having!!!!

Well Ive had enough of wading around my home course so I'm not playing until we've had a few decent days and the ground hardens up.

Some DIY on saturday then I'm treating the family to a day out on Sunday including a top notch Sunday roast. I'm not even going to the range and if the rain continues next week then I'll plan something else then too

Played this afternoon with my son and his mate (MashleyR7 on here). We managed to get round with only one real downpour and we holed up for 15 mins in a hut. I was unhappy that the swing wasn't as good as a couple of weeks ago so after a mug of tea I had a refresher lesson with the asst.Pro and it rained pretty much through the half hour - anyway a few changes and things felt much better and a little wetter!
