If anyone owns one of these I'd be grateful to know if you have any issues with the upper bag rest.

It is on a hinge which folds downwards and my experience is that during a round of golf the weight of the bag/motion of the trolley will cause the hinge to collapse and fold the rest down leaving the bag unsecured. Had they designed it so the hinge folds upwards I don't imagine this would happen.

Do other people have this problem? How have you fixed it? Am I just being stupid and missing something really obvious like a locking lever?

Thanks!

I have one and used it for a couple of years with no issues, before switching to an electric trolley .

I use a Mizuno Kuma bag. The strap has to go over the bag at an angle to the trolley frame rather than perpendicular due to the placement of the strap stay and I wonder whether this is causing a downward force on the rest, making it collapse.

I'll have to come up with some sort of hack I can slot in place to keep it from doing so!

I know exactly what you mean. I have this issue all the time. I found not having the strap so tight has helped but other than that it seems there's nothing you can do.
