Powakaddy interconnect trickle charger

Evening all I have just bought an older trolley with interconnect charger
My question is when I connect the battery I get a red and amber light , I’m assuming the green light comes on when fully charged.
I did put a battery on that came with it but the red and green light came on immediately, it did eventually charge but drained really quickly , does any one have experience with these chargers

I have powacaddy with the same charger, if you got a older trolley I guess the battery has gone, my old battery went the same way as your describing.
