Powakaddy CT6 screen issue

Over the last few weeks I have noticed a spreading defect from the bottom of the screen on my CT6:



I assume this is the top protective screen (and not the actual LCD screen) that is detaching itself, possible due to water ingress. The trolley is well out of warranty at this point.

Anyone else had the same issue?

Contacted Powakaddy, got me to remove handle and they sent a courier to collect. Will fix it FOC.

Quick turnaround by Powakaddy, repaired handle received back. Bonus is that it now has the latest screen.

You are correct. The right hand button now switches the distance from Total to Trip, it used to switch between imperial and metric. Nice to to more battery level information too.

Mine has just started doing that too same place seems to have just happend recently as I didn't notice it before, did you just contact pk and that sent the courier what did you say to them

I have a CT6, it's coming up for 3 years old. The bottom of the screen appears to be detaching itself, possibly due to water ingress. Is this something that can be easily fixed?

They responded asking for photographs, which I supplied and they took it from there.

No joy with powakaddy, wanting me to use a service centre for the replacement at £130, can't say I'm happy about that.

You can buy a whole new handle with GPS from eBay it's simple to fit, I ended up getting the screen replaced through a pro shop for £100 fitted was the new style screen but I wish I bought the GPS handle and fitted myself was only £130,

Mine was also like that and out of warranty. When I contacted Powakaddy they replaced the screen (to a later versions) FOC. I had to remove the whole handle assembly. PK organised a courier to pick it up and returned the fixed one a week or so later.
