Powakaddy Battery

After owning my Powakaddy Sport Digital for the last 4 years the 36-Hole battery gave up the ghost on only the 2nd Hole at the weekend!

So, new battery required I look for the 18-Hole Powakaddy battery and the cheapest I can find is £69 from Snainton. However, there is a cheaper alternative. Direct Golf are selling a JCB 18ah 18-Hole battery for £45. Now bearing in mind that my bag weighs more than Jupiter I need some uummmppppphhh in it.

Anybody else bought an alternative battery to their make of trolley and are they suitable?

They recommend you get a new charger as well, I got both for £60 and have had no bother with either. Have a look.

I know its rubbish paying out for a battery when there are new clubs/accessories you could be buying but just look how long t has lasted you. No brainer mate stick wkth Powakaddy. Work it out over a season and it nothing.

I bought a 36 hole battery for £48. Think the brand is called Numax something?? Fits my Powakaddy Freeway tray perfectly. Great thing is, don't have to charge even after 3 rounds. And still using the original PK charger.
