Potholes

Reading and some of the side roads are shocking, especially the London Road from Cemetery Junction past the hospital. The roads around the hospital are truly awful too. I'm not certain how much notice councils will take of complaints though as they must surely have a limited annual budget far lower than that needed to complete the task fully

They weren't too bad when I lived down there but they do get a lot of hammer from the farming boys. Up in Shropshire we've reported and had potholes done on our country lane, well say done there ares till plenty left that could have been done, but no doubt down to money again.

Don't know when you were here but driving through places like Ledbury or Leominster is shocking in more than one sense.
