Potential Nike Bargains?

How did you get them back? Bloomin hard to fold a driver and fit it in your suitcase. Did you already have golf gear with you that you were shipping back to the UK on your flight?

I deliberately avoided going into the Edwin Watts stores as I did not want to feel disappointed in seeing a bargain and being unable to bring it back. I am happy to hear an answer, even if it makes me feel stupid for not thinking of it, if it gets around this problem.

Go to a post office and post it as a gift to yourself.

Or ditch the shaft and put the head in your suitcase.

My grandparents flew first class and got some sort of deal with extra luggage. Not 100% how we did it tbh mate but I know they were kept in the box they packaged them in!

The only things I need at the moment tbh are a putter and wedges which may be able to fit in my case with a bit of luck!

Probably the best way unless you have clubs with you, not sure what customs are like now but a mate got pulled over for not declaring a new set of clubs he was bringing back from Florida, they ended up costing much more than if he had brought them here.

another idea I heard was buy a cheap pencil bag and put the clubs in.

If anyone asks it was taken with you

Top advice, thanks all. I had visions of clubs being put in the hold and being snapped. Presumably if it is classed as oversized luggage then it gets handled differently and so is looked after a little better. Anyway, next time I'll head into that shop with plenty of dollars in my pocket.

Take a bag/travel holdall out with you, + MAKE SURE the clubs are used before you come home and the purchase receipt is NOT about your person

Some of the airlines such as virgin allow you to take sports equipment free of charge. That's how I got some irons back a few years ago. Like mentioned I just ditched the receipt (I wouldn't need it anyway as no dicks sports store I know of here).
