Post required mods input and never appeared?

Hi. Posted in Ask The Experts today on a thread I started "Reverse Pivot". Typed a long reply to helpful responses and it never appeared but think I missed the pop up message about mods input as when I tried a (much smaller!) message I then spotted it.

Neither have appeared though?

Had a similar glitch a couple of days ago.

Could actually be in the thread, though not in your history (mine was but wasn't resp.).

The fat controller was looking into this and can find no common reasons why the posts are being flagged, some have a link to a smilies from another site some just have a link to a previous post or thread. I can't speak for the other mods but generally I will have a look and clear them out every so often (maybe a come of days) If it was post with different bits in it you want up quickly pm one of us and it can be sorted out fairly quickly.

Unfortunately thats the best I can offer you at the moment unless anybody else knows anything about it.

We used to have access to an option that gave us all threads requiring moderation (posts which tripped the auto filter) on the old system, dunno if it has been activated on this one.
We can see any threads though if we look down the sections individually, I tend to use the new posts button though but will look more often if it helps.

Go in through your mod panel and on the left hand side there are various mod thread/post/attachment etc. It then gives a list of the posts awaiting clearance from Clarence

LOL that never shows anything, I could have sworn there was a more obvious way on the old software (might have been before your time though!)

They're in the thread now so not sure as they didn't contain any links and just quotes from within the thread.

No doubt computers being computers as is their want

As I said Amanda, sometimes the system flags false positives, nothing wrong with what you have done.

Just had one, first time I've seen it. Nothing apart from text in the post, so must have just been one of those glitches you mentioned.

It obviously knows that the thread exists as it mentioned the existence of a duplicate when I tried to repost it

I'm getting his more often than not now and they are never applied to the post! Its not exactly ideal. For instance today I found a very good article about Rors and $250 million move to Nike. As per usual I copied and pasted it applied it to the Rory to Nike thread and it gets blown away by the stupid approval thingy!
