He comes out of it very badly! Those that have expectations of our politicians expect truth, honesty and fairness, which isn't always in evidence. Cameron's flat refusal to answer a direct question leaves everyone with little option other than to interpret the answer to be people will be worse off.

But we're still all in this together .

It's one of the reasons I do like Corbyn. Whilst I wholeheartedly disagree with some of his views, at the very least he looks like someone who has principles and is willing to stand by them. No matter how unpopular they may be. An honest, if sometimes wrong, politician.

To be fair to Dave, Jeremy was asking him questions that he couldn't honestly answer with a simple yes or no, so had to resort to stating intended Government policy. How often do politicians of any colour ever directly answer a simple question without a load of caveats and evasions? I suspect the answer is that some people have to be made worse off, if tax credits and welfare spending have to be cut. Dave's big problem is that Jeremy Corbyn is a much cleverer and more wily opponent than Ed Miliband (which is not difficult)!

I'm warming to Corbyn, but to be honest they all seem like great fighters for the people until they take office and it's almost like all their gusto and plans go to the wall in favour of the same old story.

I sometimes wonder whether or not they are hamstrung by the finances. They get into office, and then find out that the way the country's budget and infrastructure are set up they have very little choice.

I think most people agree we as a country need to cut our spending but no one wants to be worse off. That just ain't gonna work

Maybe we should set up a scheme whereby those that feel they aren't paying enough or want to help others in a certain situation the scheme can buddy those people up.

Such schemes or schemes with similar intent exist all over the country; I'm sure that if you are interested in finding one your local council or a local church will be able to point you in the right direction.
