'Peers aren't getting enough money for attending the house of commons' according to 71 year old Lord Farmer. He described the £300 per day TAX FREE allowance as "inadequate".
As Lord Farmer has a personal wealth of £150m, he doesnt claim his allowance as he "doesn't need it" but lots of his fellow peers do so he wants them to have more.

Maybe he could claim it and donate it to his favourite charity.

Thank goodness we're all in it together

I think a lot of working people and pensioners would like to earn £300 a WEEK tax free! But as you say, we're all in it together!

Yep, we've all got to tighten our belts and be prepared for a little more hardship. You know, perhaps serve chicken instead of swan when we have our friends round for dinner.

I do hope you have been given written permission from Liz before serving Swan...

Dont worry about Lord Farmer, he's got loads of money. In fact he's got so much he gives a lot of it away to the Conservative party.

And here's a HUGE coincidence,

David Cameron made Mr Farmer a Lord in August 2014 just weeks after he donated £303,000 to the conservative party. That takes his contributions to the conservative party BEFORE he became a Lord to £6.6m.

His contributions to the conservative party for the 6 month period after he became a Lord in August 2014........£000,000.
