The big man is in top form with his soundbites ahead of USPGA. When asked how he was hitting the ball on the range he answered deadpan, in one word "poorly"
When asked about his prep, he noted that the heat would play a big part in Atlanta, but as he was a finely tuned athlete it would not affect him at all.
I love the big man's mix of on course determination and off course humility.
A class act, whilst also making time to be the "champion golfer of the year"
Some of the other PR robots should take a leaf ...

I've been following his twitter for ages and he's a funny guy with a sharp sense of humour. Now he's got his major he's made and so he can play golf the way he does best - relaxed. I expect to see him start to win a few things where he can almost rock up without too many cares or expectations and just let his talent flow

I am hoping he doesn't over do it now that he has more commitments. He plays his best when not exhausted and playing week in week out. If his swing isn't going well I'd rather he took a week out to try and sort it.

I've always liked the way he's conducted himself, both on and off the course. He seems a genuinely nice bloke, and after watching the BBC documentary, thats exactly how he came across.Watching him blubbering after coming home to his boys, brought a tear to my eye.
